FAQs
1. What are your rental crates used for? Our rental crates are designed specifically to make residential moving more efficient and environmentally friendly. They can be used to pack and transport your belongings safely during your move.
2. Do you offer packing supplies like paper and bubble wrap? We don't currently offer packing supplies, but we are working on sourcing reused materials for packing.
3. What is the moving area you service? We are local to North County San Diego but we will deliver to all areas in San Diego County, as well as Temecula and Murrieta. However, we are flexible, so if you're not sure if your move fits within our service area, contact us.
4. Can I rent by the day instead of a full week? We have a one-week minimum, however we are happy to try and coordinate an earlier pick up if you finish unpacking ahead of schedule and want the bins out of your way. We find that for most people, it's challenging to unpack and stay organized on a tight schedule of less than 1 week.
5. How long can I rent the crates for? Up to 4 weeks. Get in touch with us directly if you have a project where you need to extend a rental period past 4 weeks.
6. Do I need to clean the rental crates before returning them? Please make sure the crates are empty and reasonably clean before return, however we will always clean & sanitize crates between uses.
7. How large are the crates? The crates have a 18.75 gallon capacity, the measurements are 27"x17"x12".
8. What happens if a crate is damaged during my move? Accidents happen, and minor wear and tear are expected. The crates are very durable and made for this purpose. However, please do not use the crates for standing on or sitting during your move. If a crate is significantly damaged or lost during your move, we will work with you afterward to determine a solution.
9. Can I pick up the crates myself instead of having them delivered? We only offer delivery for our rentals.
10. What payment methods do you accept for crate rentals? We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.
11. Can I change my order after it's been placed? If you need to make changes to your order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible, and we will assist you with any modifications.
12. Is there a minimum or maximum order quantity for rental crates? We offer standard rental packages as listed on the Packages & Pricing page. However please use the contact us page for special requests and we will be happy to try and accommodate any needs you have - whether that is a smaller or larger order.
13. Are there any discounts for long-term or bulk rentals? After the first week, additional weeks are 50% off. If you are looking to rent for more than 4 weeks, or outside of the bundles we offer, please contact us for more information on custom rental orders.
14. Why can I only choose limited days to get my crates? We do pickups and drop-offs on select days to consolidate transportation and make things more efficient and eco-friendly. All rentals are for 1 week, so we suggest choosing early in the week if you'd like more time before the weekend to pack, or later in the week if you'd like more time after the weekend to unpack.
